If you want to stay at the best hotel in Salt Lake City, is here to help! In Salt Lake City, both areas with attractions and the city center are good places to stay. Looking for hotels in Salt Lake City? is a great place to start. Overall a good stay and would definitely stay here again. You don't have access to the elevator lobby so you either need to carry everything down stairs or down the ramp & we spent one morning wandering the garage trying to find our car since the garage access is kinda wonky. There is a garage (pay $17/day) that is shared with an apartment building across the street. Maybe ask for a room that doesn't face the main drag? We found the parking to be less than ideal. But, that is what happens when you stay downtown I guess. Not at all AC hotel's fault but Saturday night was pretty rowdy around the hotel with a very large & noisy group of cars rolling by bars letting out in the wee hours and someone screaming their head off. ![]() They also had ample room to open two suit cases and still room for a small sofa bed- plus a nice bathroom, big windows, and an extremely comfy bed. Personally, I prefer more hard surfaces in hotels as it feels cleaner to me. Some people love that, others find it cold. The fitness center is well appointed with dumbells up to 50 lbs and a cable machine + cardio equipment. The lobby bar was a fun & welcoming crowd & the bartender gave great recommendations. Location really does not get much better than this. Several excellent restaurant, bar, coffee, etc options in all directions. It's a shame, because this property, has some real potential to be a really cool place, so I hope the owners can take this review as constructive criticism and make some improvements. The showerhead provided a mere dribble and was simply the most disappointing shower I've ever had in my life. The worst part of the room in my book is in the shower. In the shower, it looks like the tile had been painted over, and the paint was peeling badly. After an OK night's sleep, we took morning showers. The bed was clean, and the Tempurpedic mattress was nice, but the box spring had obviously been victim to a cat that decided to sharpen its claws. There was a lack of outlets that were easily accessible next to the bed, so if you travel with a CPAP, be ready to mobe the bed to plug in. Our room had a window facing West Temple, and it's only a single pane so the road noise was significant when compared to a room in other places. He was pretty rude about the whole thing. When she asked the gentleman in the lobby for replacements, he provided a single towel, forcing her to ask for another, and then a hand towel and washcloth. MY wife found some long black hair on the towels in the bathroom, and all they supplied were a pair of bath towels. The carpet had stains and was pretty worn. Inside the room, I immediately noticed that the walls were scuffed all over and that you could see where light fixtures had been changed. The cart full of junk outside the door of the room next to us didn't help. Between the back alley feel and the phallus shaped artwork on the windows were pretty demoralizing. The stairwell up to the third floor was the beginning of my feelings that this may have been a mistake. When we arrived late in the evening, the guy behind the desk was apathetic, and actually rather rude. The photos looked decent and reviews said it was clean and the price was great. or one of its affiliates.I had to book this room last minute to deal with a family emergency in the city.
